Hey friends! I’m just a regular girl who realized that I no longer wanted to *survive* life, but truly ENJOY it 🙂 Basic nutrition that I can actually STICK WITH and a group of supportive ladies online sharing in the same struggles/successes are what made ALL the difference in my journey to living a healthier lifestyle….and now I get to bring others along with me for the ride! With God and the right people by your side, anything is possible! ❤ ❤ ❤
A few years ago I was a new mom with ZERO energy and major thyroid/autoimmune issues. I wasn’t in the best shape, or taking the time to eat like I should, but honestly I was TOO TIRED to care! I just wanted to be able to make it past 7:00 PM without ending up sprawled on the living room floor while my son ran in circles around me. 😦
I thought I was making *pretty* healthy food choices (a decent amount of fruits & veggies, mostly clean ingredients, etc.) but a friend from church introduced me to a basic real food nutrition plan that explained why I was soo tired all the time. And here I thought sleeping 9+ hours a night and then feeling like a zombie all day was NORMAL! I finally had the energy to work out again too, and 30 minutes five days a week at home was getting me wayyyy better results than the hours I used to spend at the gym.
After falling ❤ in love ❤ with the results I was seeing (losing 20 pounds was a nice side effect!) and the awesome community in the online nutrition & fitness accountability group that I was part of, I realized I wanted to help my friends and family feel as good as I did!! It was MUCH easier than I thought to cook healthy, real food that actually TASTED GOOD too. I had to share the things I had learned with others!!
So I, the former anti-social media shy girl, started hosting an online group full of women who encourage and motivate each other to live happier, healthier lives, who are setting AMAZING examples for their families…and it just kinda snowballed from there!
Now I’ve been able to leave my career in Communications & Human Resources to be a work-from-home-mom (something I never in a million years even DREAMED was possible!), mentoring other women who want to live HAPPIER, HEALTHIER, MORE FULFILLING lives. ❤
