I’m so proud of this girl, it’s amazing to see how she has really changed her life (and her entire family’s lives!) for the better 💕
I met Annie right after she was diagnosed with a major digestive disease, and she wanted to start eating a little better to prevent things from getting worse (and get off her meds 🙌). She knew intuitively that one issue will lead to another, and didn’t want to start down that path, especially when she is only in her 20s and has two young kids!
Over the last 6 months, I’ve had the joy of working with her on taking one small step at a time as her health coach. We’ve
🍎Grocery shopped together
🥙Gone out to eat (good excuse for a girls’ night!)
🧘♀️Taken yoga classes
🥪Gone through her kitchen and talked about healthy food swaps that her kids would still enjoy 😉
And wow, has she really soared!! She‘s
👉Gotten off multiple meds
👉Started sleeping better and has more energy
👉Helped her family eat healthier, and actually enjoy it
👉Learned how to read food labels and pick healthier options at the store
“My son asked for carrots the other night before bed. Carrots!! 🥕 And for breakfast my daughter, will eat whole grain waffles, eggs and fruit instead of sugary cereal. 🙌
My husband is pretty exciting I’m actually cooking now too! Nothing fancy, but I have a good rotation of about 10 meals I’ve learned to make that everyone loves, and doesn’t always realize are healthy (fajitas, tacos, crock pot chicken, etc.)”

Cooking is always more fun with friends 💕
And the best part? 6 months ago it was frozen pizza and Stouffer’s lasagna most nights, but now Krissy can cook with the best of them and is totally teaching me some things!!! 🥘🥗🌮🌯🍗🍳🍎
Her main goal when we started her Health Coaching sessions was to make quick but healthy meals for herself and her family. That way they get sick less often, and she can have the energy and good quality sleep that are PRICELESS as a mom 😍😴🙌
Especially because Krissy is a busy mom raising 3 little girls, working the family business and taking care of their horse farm … which was leaving her little time for cooking, and at the mercy of choices made out of convenience that weren’t leaving her feeling very well in the end. 🙈#beentheredonethat
So we came up with a game plan to work up to a better meal routine over time, because small steps that are more manageable really add up over time 👍! We went grocery shopping, learned how to decode food labels, researched recipes, came up with ideas for picky eaters and even looked at how foods impact our immune function ❤️
Now she is ready to fly on her own, because she’s built solid basic habits and has the knowledge to help make healthy living easier, even when life gets crazy 😉 I am SO proud of you girl, you have truly transformed your family’s future and you deserve every ounce of energy you have gained! 💃
And I have to show off this awesome under-the-counter spice rack she made! 😍 Mason jar lids that are attached to the cupboard, so you just unscrew the bottom of the jar to get your spices! 🎉

I won’t lie, the thought of spending a week in a bathing suit with a bunch of people who are SUPER FIT on our Health Coaching Vacation in Mexico last week gave me a bit of anxiety! 😱 👙👙👙👙😱
I have stretch marks from gaining and losing so much weight over the years (thank you yo-yo dieting, thyroid issues, anxiety medication and pregnancy 😜) I may not have a flat stomach, and I certainly will always have cellulite.
But then I realized, you know what? I am working on living a healthier lifestyle (for the most part), investing in mine and my family’s long-term health…and THAT is what matters more than a dang swimsuit! 👊
I will never be one to completely abstain from chocolate, eat low calorie/no carb/high fat (that never works long term for me anyway 😂) or exercise like crazy. I just don’t like to feel restricted, and I know I can find a healthy balance that I’m proud of no matter what the heck I’m wearing or who I’m with 😍

Moms – What time of day is your energy the lowest?!
I was so excited when my friend Sarah said she is no longer having that dreaded AFTERNOON SLUMP!!! Because I know how life changing that can be as a busy mom 😊😊😊 She’s got two boys to keep up with, and her family recently moved cross-country for her husband’s ministry job. So she needs all the energy she can get 💕
Sarah’s also lost 25 lbs. 😍 And her immune system and mood are MUCH better, just from following a basic meal plan and adding a little exercise and superfoods into her day 🎉 Here’s what she says has helped her make this lifestyle shift 👉“I have a coach to hold me accountable and check in on me… that cares about my choices. Michelle has two young boys and works night shift as a Pediatric RN. She had lost over 15lbs. and several pants sizes following an eating plan/workout routine, but then LIFE happened (we’ve ALL been there right?!) 😉 But she knew she wanted to prevent long-term health issues like high cholesterol and diabetes, so she could be there for her family for many years to come!
After working together to find a more maintainable lifestyle of balanced healthier choices, Michelle sent me this message that totally made my day: “I’m sleeping better, and feel better all around.
